Picture day Refund Policies

A1.- 7-day 100% satisfaction guarantee program.
The Missing Sock offers a 7-day 100% satisfaction guarantee program. Within two business days after picture day, customers will receive a link to a private image gallery with previews of their edited images. Customers have a 5-day window to select their favorite images and complete their pre-paid orders.
If customers are not 100% satisfied with their images within this 7-day window, they may opt for a full refund. Once gallery proofing window is closed, processing and handling fees apply to your refund. After the 30-day period, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. Please refer to section A2 for more details.
Galleries remain open for a five (5) day period to meet the free delivery deadline to the establishment. Failing to complete the order with favorite images during this timeframe, the system will randomly choose them. The Missing Sock will not be able to change or provide any help whatsoever regarding the selection of images after the system has closed.
A2.- Refund and credit rules :
- Refund requests received up to 7 days after picture day : 100% money back

Orders with prints :
- 80% refund (processed once prints are received)

- 90% refund (only if images haven't been downloaded).

- Given the nature of downloadable digital items, we do not offer a refund or credit on a purchase unless such files have not been downloaded.

- After thirty (30) days of the shoot date and time, all sales are final, and there is no refund. You may instead receive a 90% credit for future picture days.
B) Retakes
The Missing Sock, under the right circumstances, can offer a retake day at the end of every season to those who didn’t have a successful picture day.
The photoshoot takes place in our studio in midtown. The non refundable entry fee is $30, additional to the ordered package.
You will be able to schedule the 10-minute slot to attend for your kid’s retake session – keep in mind that we are receiving many parents with their children every season. We reserve your spot only for that day; if there’s a no show, we cannot guarantee we will have another place to receive your child on a different time block, and we will not issue any refunds at this point.
The Missing Sock reserves the right to cancel a retake day if required. In these cases, customers may receive a full refund or full credit for a future picture day at the discretion of The Missing Sock.
Mini Sessions
If customers need to change or cancel their booking, the following conditions apply:
- Cancel up to 15 days before the shoot date : 100% refund or 100% credit for a future photoshoot
- Cancel 3 - 7 days before the shoot date : 80% refund or 90% credit for a future private photoshoot
- Cancel within 3 days before the shoot date : No refund, 90% credit for a future private photoshoot
If The Missing Sock needs to change or cancel a photo session, they will either provide a full refund or full credit for a future private photo session at their discretion.
Private Photo Sessions Refund Policies
Photo sessions changed or canceled by the client.
- Photo sessions booked with TMS may be canceled up to 15 days before the shoot date. If you book a private session, you will get a 90% refund; The Missing Sock retains 10% of the total amount for processing and handling fee. You may instead opt for a 100% credit for future private photo sessions.
- After your photo session is confirmed, we will attempt to accommodate any rescheduling request from your part before seven (7) full days of the shoot date and time. We cannot assure you we will be able to change the date. If we cannot, you will have the option to maintain the existing reservation or cancel as outlined in section (1) above.
- Within seven (7) days of the shoot date and time, all sales and bookings are final, and there is no refund or immediate reschedule for canceled shoots. You may instead receive a 100% credit for a future private photoshoot.
- After the booking, changing photographers are treated as a cancellation and follow the same policies outlined in section 1

We will make every reasonable attempt to provide the co-operations by the specifications presented on our website. Although it is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your booking or cancel confirmed dates, we reserve the right to do so should it become required or advisable. If we need to cancel your booking, we will either provide you with a credit that you may use towards another photo session or a full refund at our discretion.
Product Copyright
Each image sold by The Missing Sock is copyrighted and all credit of the photography must be attributed appropriately. Customers authorize photographs to be taken by The Missing Sock and agree to use the photographs for lawful, non-commercial purposes only. Customers are aware that The Missing Sock may assist with posing and dressing the child before the photo session.
Printing Errors of Digital Images
For printing digital images on your account, please make sure you go to a professional lab to get the right colors and printing quality. If you need the best printing quality, we recommend using our printing lab. You can inquire to us about them at any time.
Changes in Terms and Conditions
The Missing Sock reserves the right to update or modify their Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Customers are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions whenever using The Missing Sock's website.
